Senior Research Officer Centre for Dynamic Imaging Walter and Eliza Hall Institute
Dr Lachlan Whitehead completed his PhD in X-ray diffractive imagine in 2011 before joining WEHI's Centre for Dynamic Imaging in 2012 providing both hardware and software support to the Centre's users.
Since this time, he has spearheaded the Centre's image processing and analysis capabilities and has developed a range of analysis pipelines in projects ranging from the single cell to whole animal lengthscales. Collaborating with microscopy users locally and abroad, he has developed a familiarity with a range of different software tools and analysis methods. His current interests include deep learning, multiplexed tissue imaging, light-sheet methods, and 3d rendering and animation.
